经上海市律师、公证员系列高级职称评审委员会2020年7月25日评审，杨春宝取得一级律师任职资格。杨律师于1999年获评三级律师、2008年获评二级律师。
律师职称分为一级（正高级）、二级（副高级）、三级（中级）和四级（初级）四个等级。
上海1987年开始评定律师专业职称，上世纪共评定了三次：第一次评定了8位一级律师，第二次评定了1名，第三次评定了2名。此后，在多年暂停评定后于2008年起恢复高级律师的评定，至今累计评定一级律师数十名。目前上海近三万名律师中，仍在执业的一级律师为数不多。
